COMPLIANCE & SECURITY MANUAL

Shortly after approving a new merchant account, Eliot Management Group sends each new merchant a welcome packet that contains valuable information regarding their merchant account. One of the key pieces of information found in the packet is a security manual titled, Compliance & Security: Your Guide to Understanding Card Security Standards and Fraud Protection. This manual includes helpful information regarding:

• The truncation of credit card numbers on customer and merchant copies of the receipt
• Payment Card Industry (PCI) security standards for Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express
• Cardholder data storage requirements
• Fraud and chargeback protection
• Additional information regarding merchant processing regulations, including merchant FAQ’s.
