Statement Fee

The statement fee is a monthly fee associated with the statement that is sent to merchant at the end of each monthly processing cycle. This statement shows how much processing was done by the merchant during the month and what fees were incurred as a result. Monthly Minimum Fee

This is an account maintenance fee. As long as the merchant account is processing the correct amount of volume per month, there is no need to worry about this fee. If the account falls below the certain requirements, this fee is charged to assist the processor to keep the account on active status.

Example: A merchant has a $25.00 monthly minimum fee. Their qualified fees for their most recent complete month of processing total only $15.00. This merchant will be charged an additional $10.00 to meet their monthly minimum requirements.

Annual Fee

An annual fee is charged to keep a merchant account contract in place, and to keep the rates at the lowest possible range for the merchant account. A merchant account can also have an annual fee instead of the monthly minimum if they feel it is better for their unique account situation.
