ATM PROGRAMS

EMG's ATM Program is based on a merchant-operated ATM plan. The merchant leases or purchases the ATM from EMG and handles the day-to-day maintenance of the ATM. The merchant will be responsible for filling up the ATM with cash, reconciling and balancing the transactions, and all general maintenance needed by the ATM. All transactions are host-based and deducted from the ATM user's bank account. The merchant is reimbursed daily via ACH for cash dispensed on the previous business day prior to 3:00 PM CST.

The merchant generates revenue by charging cstomers for using the ATM. This fee is called a "surcharge", and is typically around $2.00 per transaction.

There are some basic location and payment requirements the merchant must meet in order to get setup for the ATM.

• The merchant must provide a dedicated phone line with phone jack within 3 feet of where the ATM will be located.
• The merchant must provide a dedicated power jack and surge protector within 3 feet of where the ATM will be located.
• The merchant must complete all the necessary paperwork.
• The merchant must pass a basic background check performed by our sponsoring ATM bank, First Financial.
• The merchant must pay all the necessary setup charges (phone line, power source, and ATM techician installation fees).
